The Story County Amateur Radio Club will meet at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2019, in the North Conference Room A/B on the first floor of Mary Greeley Medical Center. Clint Miller, K0GR, will lead a discussion on “Communicating when your plan falls through.”

The meeting is free and open to the public. Parking is available near the MGMC south entrance.

The Story County Amateur Radio Club will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2019, in the PEO Room in the Ames Public Library. The meeting will feature the annual ‘show and tell’ format. Bring some new radio technology or technique to share. The meeting is free and open to the public.

The Story County Amateur Radio Club will hold its annual picnic on Saturday, August 24, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Coneflower Shelter at Moore Memorial Park. The picnic is open to anyone who would like to learn more about amateur radio. Attendees are requested to bring a main dish and side dish to share, along with their own table service. Water and lemonade will be provided.
