January 4: "JS8Call - Basic Operation and Familiarization"

For our first club meeting of the new year, Greg Shaw N0GES will deliver a presentation titled: "JS8Call - Basic Operation and Familiarization"

Greg's presentation will cover the background of JS8Call and potential use cases, as well as basic setup, familiarization and operation. His presentation will be heavily focused on demonstration of the software with ample time for audience Q&A. The JS8Call website gives the following summary about the tool: "The idea with JS8Call is to take the robustness of FT8 mode and layer on a messaging and network protocol for weak signal communication on HF with a keyboard-to-keyboard interface."

Time: 7 pm presentation, brief club business meeting to follow.
